Born in Liaoning Province (China) in 1968, NING graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 1990. Since 2018, he has been living and working between Shanghai (China) and Grenoble (France).

Imbued with Buddhist thought, NING's practice based on assembly, movement and writing is essentially conceived around installations and performance. ​

 

He draws his inspiration from ordinary everyday objects, forges links through their stories. ​

 

His works explore the notions of time, origin, authenticity, identity and history.

His work has been exhibited in various art institutions and galleries across China, including Shanghai DonGallery, Shanghai Chun Museum, OV Gallery, YuanJingJie Art Museum, the German Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai Expo, Chongqing Huangjueping Art Festival, DDM Warehouse...

He has also taken part in art projects abroad - Art Basel - Miami Beach, France, Italy...

Né en 1968 dans la province du Liaoning (Chine), NING est diplômé des Beaux Arts Lu Xun en 1990. Il vit et travaille entre Shanghai (Chine) et Grenoble (France).

Imprégnée de la pensée bouddhique, la pratique de NING basée sur l'assemblage, le mouvement et l'écriture se conçoit essentiellement autour d'installations et de performance.

Il puise son inspiration dans les objets ordinaires du quotidien, tisse des liens à travers leurs histoires.

Ses travaux explorent les notions d'origine, d'authenticité, d'identité, d'histoire.

NING expose en Chine et en France, participe à des projets internationaux.

宁佐弘1968年出生于中国辽宁省。1990年毕业于鲁迅美术学院。现生活工作在法国格勒诺布尔和中国上海之间。

宁佐弘以他对日常生活的理解为方法探索艺术,他从生活经历中汲取灵感,创造出新的意义和对生活的理解。他的作品都集中在时间的流逝,活着意味着什么以及生命的无常。

他的作品曾在各种艺术机构和画廊展出,包括东画廊,上海春美术馆,原境界美术馆,2010年上海世博会德国馆,重庆黄角平艺术节,东大名ddm仓库,巴塞尔艺术博览会。
